We are seeking a skilled AEM Front end Developer with extensive experience in Front end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AEM-specific frameworks like HTL (HTML Template Language). In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing user-facing features within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring seamless integration between design and back-end systems. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and content authors to deliver high-quality, scalable web experiences.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end components within the AEM platform.
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional AEM components using including JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS (SASS/LESS), Bootstrap and HTML5
- Work with AEM templates, components, dialogs, and client libraries.
- Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Provide support to content authors by addressing and resolving their reported issues.
- Maintain and enhance existing AEM websites and components.
- Stay up to date with front-end and AEM development trends and best practices.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in web technologies/frameworks, including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, Sass, Foundation, Bootstrap, Underscore, JSON, Typescript
- 5+ years of experience working with front-end build tools, webpack, yarn, npm.
- 5+ years of experience in AEM technologies (HTL, Sling, JCR, OSGI) and working with AEM Core Components, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, Editable templates, Style System
- Extensive experience in building AEM TouchUI authoring dialogs using GraniteUI and CoralUI
- Expert knowledge in W3C Accessibility best practices
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience with converting designs into responsive, cross-browser HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- 5+ years of technical working experience in Consulting or Corporate Systems Development environments or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience working with system and application architecture solutions, development, maintenance, and support of a variety of banking/applications on different technologies and platforms.
- Expert knowledge of web-based information technology principles, System Integration, Methodologies and Standards / Metrics.
- Experience in Agile Methodology.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment Tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Experience building applications with Angular.
