Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the Human Resources in Singapore ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
The incumbent works closely with the management team and key support functions, and must possess the ability to quickly grasp the business objectives and strategies of multiple groups and leverage human resources capabilities to support the achievement of business objectives. This individual will contribute to business success by building and maintaining a capable workforce that will be committed to deliver the Bank’s strategies and promoting Scotiabank as an employer of choice.
Incumbent will champion and deliver on talent acquisition and employee engagement programs for Singapore and APAC in support of the region’s culture, leadership & employee development approach and the business objectives. As the subject matter expert (SME), he/she must have deep knowledge and be the ‘go to’ person on these areas for other HR colleagues in other locations as well as business managers and employees;
