Title:  Senior Analyst, Global Pay and Time Solutions

Please note, this is a temporary full-time role that will go until Nov 2027.

 

The Senior Analyst, Global Payroll & Time Solutions plays a key role in supporting the stability, enhancement, and continuous improvement of global payroll and time systems. This role combines deep payroll expertise with strong technical and analytical capabilities to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Working closely with global payroll teams, HR Technology, and cross-functional partners, the incumbent will support system enhancements, lead testing activities, and help resolve complex issues to enable consistent and reliable payroll delivery.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across global payroll and time processes and systems, supporting countries in resolving issues and navigating system changes
  • Lead and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for payroll and time system enhancements, upgrades, and defect resolutions
  • Partner with HR Technology and vendors to support system improvements, integrations, and ongoing sustainment activities
  • Analyze and resolve complex payroll and time issues and escalations, ensuring accurate and compliant outcomes
  • Work directly with regional and country payroll teams to log, triage, and resolve system and process-related challenges
  • Support global payroll initiatives and projects, including system upgrades and transformation efforts (e.g., SAP ECP rollout)
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve data integrity, and strengthen system functionality
  • Contribute to the maintenance of global payroll and time standards, ensuring alignment with policies, controls, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge assets, including test scripts, configuration references, and process guides
  • Provide insights and reporting on system performance, issue trends, and user adoption metrics
  • Support training and enablement efforts to drive effective adoption of new tools and system capabilities

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Strong experience in payroll operations within a large, complex organization, ideally with exposure to multiple countries or regions
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and technology, including SAP Payroll or Employee Central Payroll; exposure to platforms such as ADP, Workforce Software, or similar is an asset
  • Proven experience participating in or leading user acceptance testing (UAT) and supporting system enhancements, upgrades, or implementations
  • Ability to troubleshoot system and data issues, manage defects, and work with technical and business stakeholders to drive resolution
  • Experience supporting payroll transformation initiatives or system rollouts (e.g., SAP ECP) considered an asset
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret, reconcile, and validate payroll and time data to identify issues and inform decisions
  • Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders, including regional or country payroll teams, to understand and resolve issues
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical insights for non-technical audiences
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • PCP or CPM designation (or working toward) considered an asset
  • Multilingual capabilities (Spanish) considered an asset
