Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide leadership, strategic thinking insights and clear direction on projects related to Access Governance
  • Build communication strategies for certification campaigns and ensure end-user communication is timely, clear, level-appropriate, and is available in English, French, and Spanish
  • Leverage organizational knowledge to understand the interactions of different teams with GIAM and build strong professional relationships with them
  • Ensure that team/individual goals and performance objectives are clear, measurable, obtainable and regularly re-enforced to the team
  • Set and assist in meeting aggressive completion rate goals for all certification campaigns and minimize “uncertifiable” line items
  • Establish and standardize clear processes for pre-certification activities, certification campaigns, and post-certification revocations
  • Propose projects that could improve processes, user experience, certification accuracy, etc. and build accurate and actionable business cases for them
  • Conduct problem solving sessions for issues affecting user experience, certification schedule, and risk mitigation of the certification campaigns
  • Continually solicit feedback from the staff, colleagues and customers on process improvement opportunities while providing honest and constructive feedback to the staff on their performance
  • Provide after-hours availability for any urgent issues / incidents / escalations
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct
  • Provide evidence of certification and actions taken to Audit on a per-request basis
  • Work with the rest of ILM and GIAM team to remediate, document and close open audit findings

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management principles, concepts and goals
  • 5-10 years of leadership/people management experience in an operational role
  • 5-10 years of Security experience in Access Management or related field
  • Experience building business cases for projects/initiatives
  • Understanding of project management methodologies is considered as strong asset
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple intake channels efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical designation is considered an asset (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
  • Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset
