Title:  Integration Specialist

The Integration Specialist’s role is to participate in the planning, coordination, solution development and implementation activities related to the creation and maintenance of an API based integration platform within Canadian Banking Technology and International Banking Technology. Proven communication skills, an ability to build relationships, problem solving skills and an understanding of programming languages and data structures are critical to successful performance in this role.




We are looking for someone who will Work with development teams to architect, design, build, and implement application integrations


  • Design integration solutions and document the design in accordance with user needs, best practices and bank design patterns
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of services used in application integrations
  • Build relationships with software development and operational teams to gain an understanding of application architectures and required functionality
  • Support resolution of system defects, provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors



You Have;


  • Technically fluent in programming languages including Java, JSON, and XML
  • Hands-on experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft or API libraries like SpringBoot
  • Experience with securing integration scenarios using appropriate authentication, authorization, and data encryption
  • Experience in full-cycle, modern application development management – Streaming Architecture (SA), DevOps, Agile, Full Stack, etc.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to conduct research into application integration issues and products
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • 3-5+ years of IT or Business Analyst work experience with proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems
  • Business domain expertise in branch operations, retail banking and/or other operations functions
  • Experience working in a performance oriented collaborative environment
