The Team

The Strategic Portfolio – CCAU (Caribbean, Central America and Uruguay) Team provides both organizational and project portfolio support to the CIO business unit for IB Technology supporting the Caribbean, Central America and Uruguay.   The team works in partnership with multiple groups across the Enterprise and Global Technology and is often a key partner, champion and leader in organizational change management.

The team primarily supports International Business Solutions & Services (IBSS) and Int’l Banking Systems (IBS) value stream teams through a series of service based work packages with a keen focus on Project Control, Finance, Administration and Performance and Communications. As part of IT&S organization, we work in partnership with multiple finance towers and operate as the DPMO (Divisional Portfolio Management Office) for the CIO’s portfolio. The team provides consulting, support and promotes collaboration across the enterprise to act as a catalyst for culture change, growth and delivery to elevate productivity.

 

The role:

As an IT Senior Manager in the Strategic Portfolio, you will be a key team member with various accountabilities.

The Financial portion of this role will focus on

·        Managing and overseeing the execution of tasks and deliverables for multiple financial topics such as:  Global Financial Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting

·        Tracking Software Maintenance and Capital costs while comparing cumulative expenses to our Budget and Forecasted positions.  

·        Working closely with the Global Technology Finance Head to support and provide a Global view while maintaining working partnerships with IT&S Finance and its associated groups.

·        Back end administration such as tracking invoices, vendor payments, charge-out allocations etc.

 

The Strategic portion of this role will focus on

·        Participating in multiple working and focus groups across the organization

·        Consulting and influencing the enterprise on strategical operational progress

·        Driving change and operational improvements

·        Supporting the quarter and annual forecasting requirements for the DCT, OPEX and CEF

·        Conducting research and analysis to support consulting and recommendations to increase organizational productivity

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

·        Advanced knowledge of  excel and its formula and reporting functions

·        Experience with SharePoint design and content management

·        Ability to create, maintain and control financial budgets

·        Ability to work with multiple project teams as well as able to prioritize and delegate

·        Strong financial industry understanding and problem-solving skills

·        Self-motivated and a solid leader who exhibits curiosity and courage.

·        Advanced  communication skills

·        Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance & Accounting
