Purpose
• To contribute to the execution of customer lifecycle strategies for the Small Business segments in the Caribbean region. To manage and monitor dynamic customer metrics and key performance indicators to ensure the sustainable and profitable growth of the small business portfolio in the Caribbean throughout the customer lifecycle.
Responsibilities
• Champion a customer-centric culture across Scotiabank's entire presence to deepen customer relationships and leverage the Bank's broader relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Support the profitable growth of small businesses in the Caribbean region by:
• Supporting the business's annual Strategic and Profit Plan process for the segment
• Monitoring key performance indicators to assess the success of strategies
• Supporting periodic performance reviews and monitoring of key indicators to ensure that the annual plan objectives are met
• Analyze customer feedback, lifecycle metrics, and anticipate customer needs to ensure profit and loss objectives are met.
• Provide feedback to the Value Proposition team on KPIs and results to ensure business actions are aligned and sustained improvement of customer dynamics objectives is achieved.
• Support initiatives to adapt strategies, policies, campaigns, and pricing models to the nuances of the local market, leveraging analytics to support successful strategy execution.
• Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daily activities and decisions.
• Actively seeks effective and efficient operations in their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to meet obligations regarding operational, compliance, AML/CFT/sanctions, and conduct risks.
Education / Experience
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a business/finance discipline or related field
• Strong analytical skills required
• Experience in Corporate Banking, Finance, Analytics, and/or Portfolio Management an asset
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships with teams across multiple geographies
• Results-oriented individual with a deference to action
• Must possess a "roll up your sleeves and get it done" work attitude with a view to future innovation and the ability to think strategically and build consensus
