Contribuye al éxito del equipo de Fraud Deterrence (FD) ejecutando objetivos, planes e iniciativas alineadas a la estrategia del negocio, cumpliendo con regulaciones, políticas y procedimientos internos.
Detecta y previene fraudes mediante la revisión oportuna de casos/alertas con impacto financiero, reputacional, legal o regulatorio.
Analiza información del cliente y la actividad de cuentas, documenta decisiones con sustento claro y escala investigaciones complejas al supervisor.
Mantiene una cultura centrada en el cliente, prioriza solicitudes, gestiona tiempos de respuesta y garantiza comunicación efectiva con clientes y stakeholders.

Ejecución operativa, control de riesgos y mejora continua

 

 

Investiga casos revisando historiales, documentos y alertas relacionadas; contacta a clientes, sucursales o áreas relevantes según corresponda.
Minimiza el riesgo al Banco asegurando acciones registradas, sistemas actualizados, comunicación de hallazgos y, cuando aplique, terminación de relaciones y reportes UTR/AML.
Identifica y comunica tendencias y patrones de fraude, recomienda ajustes a reglas de detección y mejoras de procesos para eficiencia y satisfacción del cliente.
Opera dentro del apetito de riesgo del Banco, cumpliendo con marcos de riesgo operacional, cumplimiento regulatorio, AML/ATF y Código de Conducta, apoyando al equipo en picos de volumen y escalando riesgos de SLA.

 

Education / Experience

 

•    Existing banking experience with previous Fraud or Commercial experience an asset.
•    Fully bilingual in both English and French (oral and written) an asset.
•    Sound understanding of Retail, Small Business and Commercial Banking activity and practices.
•    Superior communication skills; verbal, written and electronic.
•    Thorough knowledge of the Bank’s delivery channels, products, benefits and services.
•    Thorough knowledge of all approved operating procedures in relation to all the accounting support systems.
•    Working knowledge of industry and common trends and information regarding fraud detection/prevention. 
•    Strong analytical skills to make rational and logical deductions at times with limited information;
•    Ability to gather, analyze, organize, document and present large volumes of information in a succinct and organized manner. 
•    Working knowledge of the tools used in the department (e.g., Pega, Data Warehouse, D3, PRM 9.0, Net Connect, Certapay, s-Client, Intralink including UTR filing, etc.).
•    Thorough knowledge of the Bank’s systems (e.g., CIS, KS, KT, FFT, AS400, IntraLink applications etc.).
•    Working knowledge of basic PC applications (e.g., Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel & Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
•    Standard business hours however subject to change to meet the demand of our customers located across Canada
