Reporting to the Senior Manager of Development, your focus will be on web application development and 3rd level support in a Microsoft-based development stack. You will also work closely with the Software Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Support teams in delivering and supporting solutions for our financial advisors and their teams.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Member of an Agile team collaborating to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies
  • Perform coding, software debugging, unit testing and documenting using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Lead the implementation efforts for implementations of code to non-production and production environments.
  • Participate in production issue analysis and perform root cause analysis for production issues and implementation issues.
  • Package code release builds and support deployment of releases
  • Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
  • Assess opportunities for application and process improvement
  • Assist the product owners and business analysts in discovering current system behavior and provide recommendations
  • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions while understanding the Bank’s risk appetite and culture

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience developing web applications.
  • Proficient with C#, Web API, Angular, .NET
  • Object-oriented software design and development
  • Technical knowledge of Azure Cloud
  • Experience with SQL & relational database
  • Experience with proper security practices in web development
  • User interface design using Angular, HTML, Javascript
  • Demonstrated experience writing design documents, and technical interface specifications
  • Knowledge of a variety of SDLC dependencies (infrastructure, client/server, networking) as well as high aptitude for diving in and picking up new things.
  • Knowledge of Agile development processes
  • Knowledge or experience in the use of Git, AzureDevOps pipelines or similar tools for building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
