About the role


What you'll be doing...

As a Fraud Officer, you will receive calls from Scotiabank customers concerning lost or stolen credit cards and you will investigate suspicious activity. Your role will be critical in protecting the Bank’s customers by arranging credit card replacements and educating customers on preventative measures.

  • Work variable hours including weekends and evenings and are comfortable rotating your shift every 4 months

  • Actively listen with exceptional attention to detail


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, paired with a desire to ensure customer satisfaction. Call centre experience is considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English and French is required
  • Computer literacy and can navigate between multiple applications and systems
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is preferred

Working conditions

  • Full time, permanent position, where you will be working 37,5 hours per week within our hours of operation (Monday to Saturday from 8AM - 10PM and Sundays 10AM - 7PM)
  • Start date: February 28th 2022
