Purpose: We are seeking a Senior Manager for U.S. HR Operations to lead our team in executing key functions such as Hire and Onboarding, HR Data Management, Employee Services, Benefits delivery, and managing employee inquiries. This role involves handling escalated inquiries and ensuring compliance with procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end employee lifecycle, U.S. Immigration, managing the U.S. Contingent Worker population, and supporting large-scale projects. The Senior Manager will also build strategic relationships to influence partners and vendors effectively, drive enhancements to improve the employee experience, and collaborate with key local and global stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Foster a customer-focused culture to enhance client relationships and utilize Bank resources.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure employee data processing and delivery, onboarding, offboarding, immigration, and contingent workforce management align with standard processes and policies.
- Coach team members on complex inquiries and resolve escalated issues.
- Enhance the end-to-end employee experience by continuously improving processes for better interactions with the HR Operations team.
- Lead Audit responses on behalf of the HR operations function
- Tracks and reports on team volume and activity through established reporting, analyzing performance variances to identify operational gaps and trends.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. processes and regulatory requirements, representing the team on projects and initiatives and proposing system and process improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to launch and projects and systems while ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
- Seek to enhance operational effectiveness by collaborating with peers and global COEs for practical solutions.
- Oversee U.S. HR Operations third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with risk management, security, and privacy protocols.
- Create an environment that promotes effective operations while ensuring adherence to business controls regarding operational and regulatory compliance and conduct risks.
What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Proven ability to coach and lead large teams
- In-depth knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
- Strong technical skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Proficient in PowerPoint for impactful presentations
- Good understanding of organizational structure and complexity
- Knowledge of end-to-end HR processes and their downstream implications
- Familiarity with U.S. immigration processes
- Experience in project and change management for large initiatives
- Demonstrated teamwork skills, effective relationship management, and the ability to collaborate with and influence colleagues in a global organization.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
