The U.S. Project Management Office has been established to drive and govern the program through proper project management best practices. The Senior Program/Project Manager/Business Analyst will apply their leadership capabilities, experience, and knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and governance to support various projects within the overall U.S. Target Operating Model Program (U.S. TOM), under various Program Managers – this support encompasses driving out and maintaining project plans and executing standard governance processes, interfacing with the various project and business teams.


The Senior Manager, Business Analyst / Project Manager (the “BA/PM”) reports to a Director in the PMO and is responsible to lead the development and implementation of U.S. TOM coordinating with internal stakeholders, head office counterparts, and executive management. 


The role also has an analytical dimension that includes responsibility for designing and delivering technical reporting solutions to further aid the team’s efforts in implementing the U.S. TOM.


Key Accountability:


  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.


  • The BA/PM will be directly responsible for the following activities for their set of projects:


  • Driving the overall project execution – working with the business and stakeholders from both an advisory and challenge function, deep diving into workstream issues to drive resolution
  • Working with stakeholders to identify, document, assess, and monitor all project and enterprise-level dependencies, risks, issues, and required decisions
  • Maintaining the Microsoft Project integrated plan
  • Maintaining all PowerPoint-based graphical roadmap views
  • Maintaining the project RIDA logs 


Provide business analysis to stakeholders on projects and initiatives related to the implementation of the U.S. TOM:


  • Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop approach to delivery against expectations by way of a specific work package or project plans for larger undertakings
  • Perform business analysis and document, as needed, business requirements, test cases, process maps, decision trees, data mapping and analysis
  • Produce specialized reporting packages, dashboards and scorecards as required validating the integrity of the data included in reporting
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, and implement process improvements


Experience & Education:


    • 5-7 years of experience working with multiple stakeholders in senior leadership positions, in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment
    • 3 years as a business analyst
    • Detail oriented and capable of writing concisely and effectively
    • Critical thinking and ability to challenge one’s own work in particular when analytical / quantitative analysis is required
    • Strong interviewing and negotiation skills in view of reaching consensus around a given solution
    • Strong content creation and presentation skills, to clearly capture, shape, and convey messages
    • Business / Data Modeling Foundations: demonstrated understanding and application of fundamental data modeling knowledge; ability to create and/or manage data models for program planning and reporting
    • Tools: MS Project proficiency, excellent MS Excel skills, strong Power BI / Tableau for analytical reporting, strong MS PowerPoint skills for leadership communication
