As a Campus Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll provide essential support in delivering Scotiabank’s U.S. campus recruitment strategy. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is passionate about creating meaningful candidate experiences. You’ll work closely with the Lead Campus Recruiter and Program Manager to manage logistics, communications, and systems that power our campus efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Calendar Coordination
- Support planning and execution of campus events, career fairs, and information sessions across the U.S.
- Maintain and update the campus recruitment calendar in alignment with team priorities.
- Coordinate travel, shipping, and logistics for on-campus and virtual events.
Communications, Systems, and Outreach
- Draft and send pre- and post-event communications to students, schools, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage job postings, event listings, and outreach campaigns across internal systems and external student engagement platforms.
- Promote roles and events through targeted communications and digital campaigns.
- Serve as a point of contact for student inquiries and event follow-ups.
- Track and report on campaign performance, engagement metrics, and ensure data accuracy across all platforms.
Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on target schools, student organizations, and inclusion-focused groups.
- Assist in analyzing school performance and ROI to inform strategic decisions.
- Track and report on event engagement metrics using excel for data analysis to inform future outreach strategies.
- Prepare summary reports and student-facing presentations using PowerPoint to support outreach and planning.
Team Support
- Provide administrative support to the Lead Campus Recruiter, including calendar management, meeting and interview coordination, and candidate offers
- Support with interview scheduling, candidate interview confirmations, and creating/supplying interview materials to hiring teams
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of recruitment activities.
- Attend campus events and represent Scotiabank professionally and enthusiastically.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (recent grads welcome!)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable using internal systems such as SuccessFactors and external student career platforms to manage postings, events, and outreach campaigns.
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and tracking, and in PowerPoint for preparing student-facing presentations and event materials.
- Ability to travel domestically for campus events
- Passion for early talent and creating inclusive candidate experiences
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid – Three days a week in Downtown NYC location
- Travel required to US College campuses during Peak Recruitment Season
