As a Campus Recruitment Analyst, you will be a vital part of our talent acquisition team, responsible for identifying top-tier talent and executing end-to-end high-volume recruitment for Scotiabank’s Global Banking & Markets businesses and support functions in the United States. Your primary focus will be attracting interns and analysts from a wide range of backgrounds to build a diverse pipeline of future leaders.

What You’ll Do 

 

  • Organize and participate in in-person and virtual recruitment events, including career fairs, campus events, informational panels, and networking opportunities.
  • Support in creating engaging presentations using advanced presentation software for recruitment events.
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels and build a pipeline of candidates 
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring clear communication and feedback throughout recruitment in partnership with the Campus Recruiter and business lines
  • Promote and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.
  • Develop networks to source and attract diverse candidates through relationship-building activities with diversity organizations, university career centers and student groups, community agencies, and associations.
  • Organize and assist with interviews, assessments, and screenings, including interview scheduling, systems updates, and reporting initiatives.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and culture are essential to the day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in campus recruitment.

 

What You’ll Bring 

 

  • Displayed knowledge and interest in campus recruitment, with a preference for expertise in financial services or banking
  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources / Human Capital Management / People Operations / Talent Acquisition
  • Advanced skills in presentation software (PowerPoint) and data management tools (excel) are preferred.
  • A portfolio of content creation, including social media, graphic design, video editing, etc., is a plus.
  • Proven problem-solving skills; analytical and numeric reasoning skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and process management skills necessary to maintain a high-volume workload, as well as a keen attention to detail
  • Proven flexibility in accommodating different personalities and professional work styles and changing work priorities
  • Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with universities and student populations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Commitment to upholding diversity and inclusion principles in all aspects of recruitment.

 

Work Arrangement

 

  • Hybrid – Three days a week in Downtown NYC location
  • Travel required to US College campuses during Peak Recruitment Season
