Purpose
Contribute to the overall success of the U.S. Campus Recruitment & Early Talent Strategy by managing end-to-end campus programs and recruitment initiatives across Scotiabank’s U.S. businesses. The Campus Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing recruitment programs that build a diverse, skilled, and future-ready early career talent pipeline. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Global Banking & Markets Campus Lead.
What You’ll Do
- Campus Recruitment Strategy
- Support the development and execution of the U.S. campus recruitment strategy, incorporating industry trends and best practices.
- Partner with HR and Business leaders to align hiring goals, timelines, and key performance metrics.
- People Leadership & Team Oversight
- Provide guidance and day-to-day support to a team of campus recruiters, ensuring consistent delivery of processes, policies, and service standards.
- Assist with team priorities, workflow, and feedback to help meet hiring targets and maintain a strong candidate experience.
- Relationship Management
- Partner with front‑office and internal stakeholders to align on hiring needs and program expectations.
- Coordinate internal engagements, including Steering Committee meetings and team captain touchpoints.
- Support business participation in campus recruitment and ensure strong internal satisfaction across programs and development activities.
- Campus Programs Management
- Oversee end-to-end management of U.S. early career programs, including internships, co-ops, and analyst programs.
- Design and deliver high-quality orientation, training, and development programming that integrates participants into Scotiabank’s culture and drives early-career success.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to program participants, monitoring progress, and supporting long-term development.
- Employer Branding & Marketing
- Work with Marketing & Communications to support campus-focused branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
- Review candidate and intern feedback to help strengthen the overall campus experience.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Track key recruitment and program metrics and prepare summary insights for senior management.
- Risk & Compliance
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day decisions.
- Ensure adherence to Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and applicable compliance, regulatory, and operational policies.
What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of campus recruitment, early talent development, or related HR/talent acquisition experience; financial services experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of campus recruiting trends, early career best practices, and relevant compliance considerations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint required).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruitment tools, and social media platforms used for talent sourcing.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a data driven approach to decision-making.
