The Analyst supports more senior officers in the development of business with prospect companies and the maintenance/enhancement of relationships with existing accounts. The Analyst has two major roles: to strengthen existing relationships by providing high quality account administration and to assist more senior bankers in obtaining new business through the analysis and structuring of transactions, as well as the developing of marketing materials.


Key Accountability:


  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. 
  • Analyzes lending opportunities, completes credit financial analysis and assists in the preparation of credit presentations.
  • Assists in the management of the unit's loan portfolio. Assists with annual reviews, coordinates account management with team members, handles clients requests for waivers, amendments and restructuring of credit facilities. 
  • Monitors client compliance. 
  • Ensures client files are complete and up to date. 
  • Assists in the development of marketing materials for client presentations 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.  
  • Champions a high performance environment, mentor and coach junior staff and contributes to an inclusive work environment.


Experience & Education:


  • Degree in Business or related field.
  • We will consider January or May 2019 Graduates.
  • Banking experience in a Corporate/Commercial lending or related environment.
  • Strong financial modeling skills an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, RO).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
