Contributes to the overall success of the International Money Markets and Funding team in the US by ensuring specific all activities conducted follow compliance and governance framework and regulation; internal policies; and procedures.


The Associate for US Treasury Policy, Governance and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for supporting the governance, procedures and policies, the associated documentation and support the overall strategic improvement for all aspects of Liquidity Support for U.S. Treasury. 


The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the U.S. Treasury team is in the alignment of Enterprise Group Treasury’s policy and governance and any specific U.S. centric policy and governance to accommodate any regulatory or commercial nuances in the U.S.; as well as preparation of materials for U.S. Treasury led committees. The incumbent will be expected to also initiate the various documentation reviews according to the respective review cycles.


The individual will support the improvement of U.S. Treasury processes for internal analytics and reporting by reviewing the overall environment, programmatically integrating multiple sources of information, and developing dashboards to gain business intelligence and efficiencies.




Is this role right for you? You will be responsible for:




  • Review the multiple processes, procedures and reports used by U.S. Treasury to determine best approaches to increase efficiency.
  • Develop processes to take in the existing datasets available to U.S. Treasury and automate the current reports used for analytics.
  • Produce business intelligence and insights supporting the U.S. Treasury Funding Desk, Balance Sheet Management and the Reporting & Analytics teams.
  • Responsible to maintain an up to date inventory of all of US Treasury Framework, Procedures and Policies.  
  • Support the interactions for U.S. Treasury audits, regulatory reviews and other assessments.
  • Responsible for the communication with the central US Governance and Policy team to ensure that any changes made are reflected in US Treasury’s documentation.
  • Ensure that the US Treasury framework, policies and procedures are consistent with Enterprise Treasury’s and where required, if there is divergence from Enterprise due to US specific commercial or regulatory requirements, that separate US versions are created and maintained.
  • Progress the documentation through the various review cycles for publication and ensure that all documentation is done in accordance to SBUS standards and formats.
  • Schedule the various working groups and committees which US Treasury owns and chairs, and produce the minutes detailing the actions and outcomes of each session.
  • Preparation of the slides and materials for each of the US owned working groups and committees.



Do you have the skills you need to succeed? We'd love to work with you, if you have:




  • Undergraduate degree in finance or similar discipline preferred.
  • Non-business degree combined with either the CFA, FRM or computer literacy would be acceptable.
  • Financial market experience with a background in liquidity.
  • Experience with preparing documentation on an executive level preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills including extensive facility with PowerPoint, Python, SQL, PowerBI, Excel, Access, Tableau and Bloomberg
  • Experience with ability to apply programing skills to develop, enhance and automate new and existing processes.
