Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Prime Services team in a role focused on US Securities Lending. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in securities finance while contributing to the evolution of our product offerings and platform capabilities.
What You'll Do:
Securities Lending:
- Support daily equity lending and borrowing operations, including trade booking, inventory management, and locate processing.
- Assist in analyzing lending activity, utilization rates, and client demand to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with trading, operations, and risk teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
Product Development:
- Participate in the design and rollout of new tools, reports, and platform enhancements for the securities lending business.
- Work with technology and business teams to gather requirements, test functionality, and support implementation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy and identify gaps.
- Assist in creating dashboards, data visualizations, and performance metrics to improve transparency and decision-making.
- Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at automation, scalability, and client experience improvements.
What You'll Bring:
- 2–4 years of experience in securities lending, equity finance, prime brokerage, or related financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with market data and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and Python
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
