The Assistant Manager, Workplace Operations contributes to the overall success of Workplace Operations by partnering with internal stakeholders and service providers to deliver a seamless workplace experience. Leveraging operational insights, workforce planning, and performance metrics, the role helps drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and employee engagement across the workplace environment.

 

The Assistant Manager is responsible for executing key initiatives, operational plans, and day-to-day activities that support the team's business objectives. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Workplace Operations, the incumbent supports the delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of workplace services while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, internal policies, procedures, and risk management standards.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead workplace reporting, dashboards, and analytics to monitor space utilization, service performance, workforce trends, and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze workplace data and employee feedback to identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure effective coverage and continuity of operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day workplace operations, including Concierge Desk services and support for employees, visitors, and business partners.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for workplace issues related to facilities, technology, amenities, and service delivery.
  • Partner with Real Estate, Property Management, and external vendors to address facilities requests, maintenance needs, and service improvements.
  • Coordinate workplace engagement initiatives, events, communications, and employee experience activities across locations.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and business continuity requirements.
  • Manage operational reporting, invoice approvals, budget oversight, and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead incident management activities and support workplace response during business disruptions or critical events.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service excellence, process optimization, and operational consistency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring strong governance, risk management, and compliance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:  

  • University degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities, hospitality, employee experience, business operations, or a related function.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management experience.
  • Advanced analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with experience using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, workforce planning, and service delivery functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and operational demands.
