As the Manager, Strategic Analytics, you will support advanced analytics projects for Global Operations that deliver quantifiable benefits and improvement in functions and business processes aligned to strategic objectives. You will leverage quantitative skills, statistics and business knowledge to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Global Operations business functions, enabling a superior customer experience and business strategy. You will also ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

Accountabilities

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Proactively supports data-based decision making across operational functions by providing analytical recommendations based on operational/financial/customer data, benchmarks and survey results. Produces insights to business partners using advanced analytical techniques. 
  • Builds relationships with multiple stakeholders across Global Operations, Global Risk Management and Finance.
  • Provides sound data mining techniques, analytical and statistical methodologies to provide fact-based analysis to support strategic initiatives and improve business processes. Leverage agility and creativity to maximize value and insight delivered by data analysis. Utilize varied and complex data sources, including EDL/EDW (data lake/warehouse), cloud, and source systems to aggregate, model, and mine data for insights.
  • Leverages advanced analytics techniques such as simulations for optimization and forecasting of business processes. Identifies and recommends data-driven opportunities for optimization of processes and/or staffing. In particular, identifies and quantifies cost-avoidance and savings opportunities.
  • Utilize visualization tools (Power BI) to communicate analytical insights to stakeholders, including executive leadership. These insights are expected to strategically influence decisions of business operations management.
  • Supports the 3rd Party Risk Management and Business Continuity initiatives across Global Operations with analysis and actionable insights
  • Identifies and implements use cases for Customer Lifetime Value and Customer Segmentation aimed to improve customer experience
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Postgraduate University degree in Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and analyzing data
  • Strong business acumen and experience partnering with different levels of management and business units.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python, R is required
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Cloud platforms
