Accountabilities:

 

Country and Segment Portfolio Management strategies
•    Define and own segment strategies (Small Business, Commercial/Mid‑Market, Institutional/Corporate, FI/PS) with clear value props, pricing guardrails intake and measurable targets by country.
•    Lead portfolio management (mix, betas, elasticities, churn, pricing dispersion) and execute corrective actions (retention, repricing, portfolio shifts) to deliver sustainable NIM uplift.

 

Local Execution Playbook (E2E)
•    Own the Local Execution Playbook covering pricing workflows, pipeline discipline, RFP kits, RACI, KPIs y handoffs; ensure consistent adoption and continuous improvement across countries.
•    Establish RFP governance (scorecards, TCO, win/loss analysis) and relationship‑deepening frameworks to accelerate cross‑sell and retention.
•    Embed controls & compliance (operational risk, AML) within the playbook to ensure audit‑ready local execution.

 

Pricing Guardrails Intake & Portfolio Tactics 
•    Translate regional pricing guardrails into country‑ready guidelines; apply pricing at deal level and prepare exception cases with data‑backed rationale and proper approvals.
•    Identify and run tactical sprints (pricing discipline, dispersion reduction, retention offers) in coordination with Product Readiness for workflow/controls.

 

Commercial Enablement, Campaigns & GTM 
•    Execute and adapt GTM plays: translate Data driven Liquidity campaigns and insights into country‑ready actions, tailoring to local realities (regulation, segment needs, competitive context) and ensuring consistent execution across segments and products. 
•    Own pipeline discipline in-country: ensure coverage, stage, and conversion in-country; coach sales managers on playbook adoption and remove blockers to accelerate time‑to‑win. 
•    Pricing application & RFP governance: apply pricing guardrails to local deals, manage exceptions with data‑backed rationale, and own RFP kits and win/loss reviews to improve hit rates and reduce pricing dispersion. 
•    Close the loop with feedback: provide structured feedback (what resonated, what didn’t, by country/segment) to refine segmentation, offers, and targeting. Ensure campaigns are executable and clear for frontline adoption.
•    Activate cross‑Bank referrals: drive on‑the‑ground referral execution, matching clients with relevant Bank solutions and reporting outcomes back into the regional loop. 
•    Partner to optimize work with the IB Liquidity team in Toronto on mid‑cycle adjustments (tactics, plays, resource focus) and with Product Readiness on workflow/controls to sustain execution quality. 

 

Portfolio Performance & P&L Uplift
•    Contribute to annual profit planning and country sales/revenue forecasts for LATAM Liquidity initiatives; own portfolio actions P&L impact (with Product & Country teams) and report execution outcomes into the regional cadence.
•    Ensure Interest rate sensitivity and deposits mix discipline to achieve strategic targets in terms of NII, liquidity value, market share and other KPIs defined by liquidity team. 

 

Stakeholder Management (Regional & Local)
•    Partner with Country Liquidity Leads, Segment Banking, Product, Treasury/ALM and Finance to align pricing guardrails, growth levers and country activation. 
•    Collaborate with Sales and partners to support RFP responses, resolve inquiries, close product gaps, and shape new initiatives that strengthen the portfolio and client profitability.

 

Governance, Compliance & Controls
•    Works with high autonomy within GTB/IB frameworks; escalates non‑standard issues and material risks. Scope may expand as regional operating maturity and results grow.
•    Ensure initiatives comply with operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML, and Guidelines for Business Conduct; maintain audit‑ready documentation.
•    Contribute to the regional operating rhythm (scorecards, committee materials, and executive packs) on a timely basis.

 

People Leadership (if/when direct reports are assigned)
•    Set clear roles and expectations; provide coaching, feedback, and training; recognize performance and address non‑performance promptly.
•    Ensure team knowledge of products, services, and procedures; agree on individual development plans; maintain high service standards and timely reporting. (Added as a conditional section, using your preferred language, trimmed for brevity.)
•    Creates an environment that drives efficient operations while ensuring strong day‑to‑day controls aligned to all required risk frameworks and standards.

 

Communication:
•    Deliver targeted enablement (training, quick‑reference guides) to make campaigns and pricing guidance simple and executable for frontline teams.
•    Support communication to Senior Leadership team as a subject matter expert through all forms of written and verbal presentations (i.e., periodic commentary and insights, product reviews, business reviews, annual planning, strategic review sessions, etc.).

Experience 
•    Self-starter possessing confidence and initiative; able to cope with changing and evolving priorities while identifying new opportunities
•    University degree in business or finance (MBA is an asset)
•    English / Spanish is a must
•    8–10 years in Liquidity/Deposits/Commercial Banking with portfolio strategy or pricing experience; multi‑country LATAM exposure is a must
•    Strong grasp of deposit economics (NII, NIM, betas, elasticities) and RFP discipline; experience building playbooks and driving adoption across sales teams. 
•    Proven ability to partner with Product, Treasury/ALM, Finance and Sales; comfort with governance and risk frameworks. 
•    Tools: advanced Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI a plus. 
•    Proven experience in GTM/campaigns, business cases, and profit planning with Sales and Product partners. 
•    Strong executive communication & influence skills; ability to work with Risk/Compliance and within GTB governance. 
•    Experience working in an Agile environment is an asset
•    A positive attitude combined with the confidence to drive team priorities
