Accountabilities
Delivery of multidisciplinary transformation, integration, strategic programs and projects:
• Manage program/project teams on complex and time sensitive initiatives spanning business lines, operations, finance and regulatory, and with engagement from multiple stakeholders across the Bank.
• Accountable for the planning, execution, and timely delivery of programs/projects; maintain alignment to business goals and strategies, applying a strategic-to-tactical approach.
• Provide creative and integrated solutions to complex problems which balance scope, time and quality.
• Work closely with all business teams and other stakeholders across Scotiabank Mexico to ensur momentum on deliverables & milestones. Thoroughly understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Create, deliver, present project artifacts to senior team members on program / project priorities, and key implementation updates. This includes materials for meetings, presentations, reporting and use of communications and tracking of metrics of important projects.
• Effectively and proactively manage data for reporting. Prepare data requests & business cases in line with Finance and SBM guidelines. Manage business rhythm and projects associated with key initiatives
Standardized delivery approach, communications, & update committees
• Design program management framework, governance and tools to ensure execution success while ensuring best usage of time.
• Champion continuous delivery improvement, such as using feedback forms, relationship building.
• Standardize and continuously modernize presentation templates, executive summary dashboards.

Experience
• At least 5 + years related experience including extensive experience in program / Project management and productivity improvement (consulting experience would be an asset).
• In-depth knowledge of Bank lines businesses, operational processes, client journeys and Stakeholder management is an asset.
• Expertise in Portfolio/Program/Project Management methodologies, tools, and templates.
• Certified in PMP is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and critical thinking.
• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent, high priority initiatives with senior audiences.
• Results-oriented with strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written), problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and oral communications, including strong presentation capabilities.
• English language proficiency considered an asse
