Accountabilities

Reporting and Insights -
•    Design visually impactful and intuitive dashboards backed by efficient and scalable data models by leveraging industry best practices and modelling techniques
•    Excellent in problem solving and storytelling through dashboard
•    Providing actionable insights to GTB business stakeholders across Sales, Product, Channels Operations, Strategy and Risk teams. 
•    Work closely with Salesforce CRM teams to provide enhancement requirements and resolve data issues 
•    Support ad hoc analysis requests to drive business decisions
•    Ensure accuracy, governance, and access control on BI ecosystem
•    Identify, prioritize, analyze, remediate, and escalate data and reporting issues.

Innovation and Centre of Excellence -
•    Act as a centre of excellence for GTB business, Product as well as Payment analytics, acting their own trusted advisors for everything related to data analytics
•    Ideate and innovate the best-in-class automation and reporting tools to support sales, payments and product teams in portfolio management

Relationship Management –
•    Partner closely with GTB Analytics engineering team and advanced analytics team to solve business challenges.
•    Partner closely with GTB business stakeholders across Sales, Product, Operations, Channels and Strategy
•    Work in alignment with the GBM Client Insights and Analytics, Commercial Banking Analytics and Business Banking analytics teams.
•    Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics computer science, finance, or related field
•    Master’s degree or MBA is an asset
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or insights roles, or related fields
•    Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Power BI reporting suite, SQL and data modelling
•    Solid understanding of ETL processes, data mining, profiling, cleansing and enrichment
•    Hands-on knowledge of cloud technologies–Azure Databricks, Google BigQuery
•    Exceptional communication and stakeholder management 
•    Knowledge of Canadian Banking industry and payments industry
