Title:  Senior Solutions Engineer

Provide robust, secure, and efficient endpoint solutions for Windows systems, and support large-scale enterprise deployments in the role of Senior Endpoint Engineer. Utilize technical expertise to establish scalable standards, advance automation and operational efficiency, and collaborate effectively with Scotiabank teams to strengthen long-term organizational capabilities in endpoint management.

 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Configure and manage Intune for device enrollment, lifecycle management, and application deployment.
• Implement compliance policies and manage device enrollment to ensure secure and streamlined endpoint management.
• Implement Windows Autopilot and zero-touch provisioning workflows.
• Contribute to security posture improvements and design scalable endpoint management infrastructures.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation workflows for Intune configuration and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of endpoint management processes.
• Provide advanced Tier 3 support addressing complex issues and optimizing system workflows for reliability.
• Manage complex configurations and automate tasks using scripting tools like PowerShell for efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain Intune infrastructure for performance and availability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, SOPs, and compliance reports.

 


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, or related IT roles.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) and management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, JAMF).
• Experience with endpoint security technologies, including EDR, antivirus, and device encryption.
• Understanding of network protocols, authentication methods, and enterprise security frameworks.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for endpoint management tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
