Are you passionate about transaction banking sales, relationship management, and delivering solutions to some of the world's leading financial institutions?
We're looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded professional to join our Global Transaction Banking (GTB) Financial Institutions Sales team based in London. Working alongside senior leaders, you'll play a key role in supporting financial institution clients across Europe, delivering trade finance, correspondent banking, deposits and cash management solutions while helping drive strategic growth across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure across products, markets and geographies within a truly global banking environment.
What You'll Do
As a key member of the Financial Institutions team, you will:
- Partner with the Director, Financial Institutions Europe, to support the growth and profitability of the portfolio across European markets.
- Develop and deepen relationships with banks and financial institutions across the region.
- Originate new business opportunities and identify solutions that meet client needs across trade finance, deposits, cash management and correspondent banking.
- Coordinate and execute complex financial institution transactions while monitoring portfolio performance, exposures and revenue generation.
- Manage and develop the FI deposit portfolio in collaboration with Treasury and GTB Portfolio Management teams.
- Drive cross-border collaboration and referrals across Scotiabank's global network to deliver holistic client solutions.
- Some international travel may be required.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in individuals who combine strong relationship management and sales skills with commercial curiosity and a passion for global transaction banking.
You'll bring:
- Experience working with clients, ideally within transaction banking, trade finance, cash management, correspondent banking or the wider financial institutions sector.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive results.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
- A degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline (preferred).
