Position Overview:

Contributes to the overall success of the Asset Servicing team within the GWO Middle Office in the UK & Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / achieved in line with the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

 
What You’ll Do:

•    Primary duties include processing of all EMEA & UK income (coupon) & redemptions.
•    Query management of coupon claims shared mailbox.
•    Processing of internal ledger entries & Swift MT202 payments to settle claims.
•    Daily review/narration of open nostro breaks (cash events) & depot breaks (redemption events).
•    Secondary coverage of Optional Dividend & Corporate Action event processing.
•    Reconciliation of books and records, event notifications, deadline management, paydate processing.
•    Liaison with SBL counterparties & Internal FO & Ops teams.
     
What You’ll Bring:
•    Detailed knowledge of Security Operations in general and of the Corporate Actions and Income/Coupon/Redemption process & Cash Funding impact.
•    Understanding of SBL, Repo, Fixed Income, Prime Services and Swaps.
•    Good knowledge of Equity & Fixed Income securities.
•    Strong analytical & organizational skills and capability to react to financial risks.
•    Good knowledge of the Euroclear & BNP.
•    Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
•    Good operating knowledge of the Gloss Broadridge system.
