Manager, Small Business Commercial Execution

Misión:

Contribute to the execution of commercial strategies across the Small Business segments in Peru, focusing on P&L control, campaign management, goal setting, pricing and project follow-up to drive growth and revenue.  Champion a control culture within the segment to safeguard business strategies, plans and initiatives to ensure they are executed / delivered in compliance with the defined corporate strategy, governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

¿Qué esperamos de ti?

• Bachelor’s degree in business / finance discipline or related field

• Minimum 5 years in financial services.  Experience in Business Banking, Marketing/Partnerships and/or Internal Controls an asset

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) an asset

• Database management experience     

¿A qué retos te enfrentarás?

•Champion a customer-focused culture throughout the Scotiabank footprint to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

•Support the profitable growth of the Small Business P&L in Peru.

•Support with the execution of all commercial activities within the Small Business segment in Peru. This includes, but is not limited to:

•Manage current projects and initiatives to ensure they align with commercial goals.

•Collaborate with the Value Proposition Team to support new product launches, implement changes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the small business segment.

•Design and manage campaigns and incentives to enhance product offerings and customer engagement. 

•Identify and monitor business trends, competitive intelligence, market practices, regulatory restrictions, and client feedback to ensure strategies meet client needs and campaigns/incentives support P&L goals.

•Analyze competitive trends and standards to compare Scotiabank's rates and fees, aiming for best-in-class benchmarks. Develop and implement pricing strategies across countries.

•Support internal and external audits, AML and Compliance findings, including preparing documentation, coordinating with auditors, and addressing audit findings.  Liaise with the Small Business Process & Support team as required to ensure seamless closure of all audits and issues

•Manage AML controls implemented by the first line of defense, such as KYC Onboarding, and the second line of defense, such as Transaction Monitoring, as well as control and monitoring of sales practices in the sales channels.

•Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the region, ensuring effective communication and understanding of the central strategy.  Collaborate with regional teams to ensure strategies are adapted to local market nuances, when applicable

•Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

•Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
