Contributes to the overall success of the Commercial Automotive ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Field Audit Analyst is responsible for conducting on-site dealership visits to perform audits of daily rental, flooring and leasing inventory according to approved guidelines, identifying and escalating potential risk issues.

- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Complete daily rental, flooring and leasing audits, according to approved schedules and guidelines, to ensure records are accurately maintained and any potential risk issues are identified and escalated as appropriate.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk

- Effective interpersonal skills to handle Audit irregularities, corrective action and achieve corrective results with Dealership Management

- Post secondary preferred or minimum 2 years related experience in a position of similar responsibility
Working Conditions
Domestic travel is extensive, often across large geographic areas. All modes of travel may be utilized including automobile, planes and ferries. Approximately 85% of the work is conducted while offsite. Exposure to all elements of nature is encountered, which at times can be hazardous and inhibit completion of audits.
