Associate – Power, Utilities & Infrastructure | Corporate Banking

Overview of the Opportunity
Join a leading Corporate Banking team as an Associate within Power, Utilities & Infrastructure in Ireland.
This is a high-exposure role offering the opportunity to work on complex transactions, support senior client relationships, and build deep sector expertise. You will play a key role in deal execution, credit analysis and portfolio management, working alongside experienced Relationship Managers in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Execution & Transaction Support
- Support execution of financing transactions across power, utilities and infrastructure
- Prepare credit papers, analysis and recommendations for internal approval
- Assist in structuring deals and negotiating terms with clients and lenders
Credit Analysis & Financial Modelling
- Build and review cash flow models and sensitivity analysis
- Assess credit quality and transaction risk
- Support preparation of underwriting materials and documentation
Client & Portfolio Management
- Support day-to-day management of client relationships
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks or opportunities
- Assist with annual reviews, amendments and restructurings
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams (Risk, Legal, Operations, KYC)
- Coordinate execution across loan administration and onboarding processes
- Support seamless deal delivery and client service
Business Development & Market Insight
- Contribute to pitch materials and client presentations
- Support origination efforts and prospect analysis
- Build understanding of sector trends and market dynamics
What We’re Looking For
- Appropriate level of experience within Corporate Banking
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (Excel essential)
- Understanding of credit, lending and transaction structures
- Interest or experience in Power, Utilities or Infrastructure sectors
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset with clear communication and attention to detail
