Programme Highlights

 

The Global Capital Markets Rotational Graduate Programme is an Analyst-in-Training Programme that is a stepping stone to becoming an Analyst in one of our Capital Markets’ main business areas. For individuals who are passionate about Capital Markets, this programme is designed to develop technical, analytical and interpersonal skills in the sales, trading and structuring functions.

 

The programme consists of three components:

  • Classroom: Our Capital Ideas Training Programme starts in Toronto and is designed to orient participants to our culture, people, products and services and to provide the soft and technical skills, and contacts critical for success. From day one, Analysts work with their peers from around the world to expand their global network. Team projects, individual study and social activities supplement classroom discussions.

 

  • Rotations: Analysts begin the programme gaining a solid understanding of credit and trade floor risk after which after which they will work with the programme manager to build a customised programme based on their skills, interests and business needs of the organisation. Analysts will complete several rotations, 12 weeks in length based on a learning path that is either client or trading focused.

 

  • Feedback: We believe that ongoing feedback is a critical component to any learning process. Throughout the programme Analysts are provided with ongoing feedback from their Mentor, the Programme Manager, and a Supervisor within each business.

 

Learning and Networking Approach

 

  • Learning sessions will be provided to support on-the job learning including Capital Ideas training
  • Analysts will connect with other members of Global Banking & Markets / the Capital Markets division to build their network
  • Analysts will participate in onboarding activities with their desk teams, as well as connect with senior leaders

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Contributes to the overall success of the Capital Market’s team in Dublin ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.
  • Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to the Capital Market’s team across the various desks in the execution of their day to day functions; Fixed Income Sales, DCM, Prime Finance, FX Sales, and CMF Trading.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Gain exposure to other business areas and product teams within the bank globally.
  • Work on projects that may be required from time to time
  • Prepare client presentations and daily market commentary
  • Provide exceptional client support
  • Keep abreast of market information, economic releases, trends and factors that affect market movement.

 

Requirements

 

  • Final year students or recent graduates with a genuine interest in Banking and Finance
  • We welcome applications from any degree discipline
  • 2nd language skills (French/Spanish/German) are advantageous (but not compulsory)
  • Available to commence full-time fixed-term position from early August 2025
  • A demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the financial markets
  • An independent thinker and decision-maker who is able to contribute effectively to the team's success
  • Superior interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet the challenges presented by a stressful, constantly changing work environment
  • You have full working rights in Ireland
