Purpose
-
This role will serve as a Senior Manager in the Technology Governance Office, focussing on intragroup service oversight.

This Senior Manager will be an individual contributor role partnering with other regional oversight teams for the strategic oversight of technology service provided by the Enterprise for SBUS, ensuring robust monitoring and reporting processes. This role drives data-informed decision-making across the Global Wealth Management and Global Banking and Markets technology organizations and partners with senior leadership to align technology performance with business objectives.

This senior manager will partner with all ‘voice of the internal customer’ stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are captured in the service performance oversight

Contribute to the overall success of Technology for Global Banking and Markets by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do
-
Responsible for the oversight of all BNS Technology services provided to SBUS
-
Complete local TPRM governance requirements for applicable services

Document and maintain the operational aspects of the service level agreements, leveraging Enterprise artifacts where possible

Hold regular meetings with internal service providers and consumers and perform independent challenge and feed escalation points to the Regional Head of US Technology

Monitor KRIs and KPIs and escalate any items to the business and management where appropriate. Challenge root cause and follow through on service provider remediation actions

Fostering a partnership between Regional Oversight & Technology Governance Office

Act as the escalation point ensuring where required further escalations are made to Regional Head of US Technology when services are not being delivered as contracted

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
