Purpose
Leads and oversees the business management and administrative team, providing strategic support to department leadership to ensure business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed efficiently and in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
• Strategic Planning and Reporting
o Partners with senior leadership to define and execute strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and long-term vision.
o Provides thought leadership in developing planning frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting structures that enable decision-making.
o Oversees preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports, ensuring insights are actionable and support strategic initiatives.
o Leads continuous improvement initiatives for US Risk function, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and impact.
o Develops integrated dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators and strategic progress.
• Business Management
o Provides strategic thought leadership and partners with department leadership to shape and execute business management initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness and long-term value.
o Leads the development and implementation of operational strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering continuous improvement across business processes.
o Oversees budgeting and financial management for the department, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial discipline.
o Influences organizational strategy by identifying operational trends and recommending innovative solutions to enhance scalability and resilience.
o Designs and leads people engagement initiatives, such as team events, recognition programs, and volunteer activities, to strengthen culture and collaboration.
o Introduces innovative business management practices and tools to enhance operational agility and scalability.
• Administrative Oversight
o Provides guidance on administrative processes, ensuring they enable efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organizational priorities.
o Oversees preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for leadership and internal committees, ensuring insights are actionable and timely.
o Establishes escalation protocols and communication channels to proactively address issues and maintain operational continuity.
o Leads continuous improvement initiatives for administrative workflows, leveraging technology and best practices to optimize productivity.
o Implements standardized administrative frameworks and solutions to streamline processes and improve governance.
• Leads and drives a collaborative, service-oriented culture within the team to strengthen internal partnerships and leverage broader organizational resources, systems, and knowledge for maximum impact.
• Understands how organizational priorities and strategic objectives should be embedded in day-to-day activities and decisions, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and values.
• Creates an environment where the team delivers efficient, high-quality business operations in accordance with the organization’s values and code of conduct, while maintaining strong internal controls and adherence to corporate policies.
• Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates talent by fostering an inclusive culture, using a coaching mindset, clearly communicating vision and business strategy, and managing succession and development planning.
What You'll Bring
• Minimum 8 years of experience in business management, administration, or strategic operations within financial services or a large corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of organizational strategy and planning with experience driving operational excellence.
• A university degree in business administration, management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA).
• Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience leading teams and fostering high-performance cultures.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong analytical and project management skills, with a track record of implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and familiarity with tools that support reporting and workflow optimization.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
