Purpose

 

This role will serve as an Analyst in the Technology Governance Office, focusing on metrics monitoring, reporting and tracking.   The Analyst, Technology Metrics Monitoring and Reporting, is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data related to technology performance. This role supports decision-making by providing timely, accurate, and actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses. This role supports data-informed decision-making across the Global Wealth Management and Global Banking and Markets technology organizations.

Contribute to the overall success of Technology for Global Banking and Markets by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

 

What You’ll Do 

 

  • Gather and validate data from multiple technology systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for technology operations, projects, and services.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis on technology issues and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Support ad hoc data requests and analysis as needed by management or project teams.
  • Collaborate with IT, business units, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and tools for data analytics and technology reporting.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in technology analytics, reporting, or similar roles.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and Excel.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 

 

What You’ll Bring 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • Demonstratable experience with reporting and analytics.
  • Significant experience with IT within a financial institution.
  • Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint presentations
