Purpose

 

Responsible for the execution of the U.S. Operational Risk Event (ORE) & Key Risk Indicator (KRI) Programs, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks across relevant business lines and support functions. This role plays a critical part in strengthening the firm’s risk management framework by driving consistency, regulatory alignment, and continuous improvement in control effectiveness.

 

What You'll Do

 

Support the Bank in designing and strengthening risk and control frameworks, with a focus on Operational Risk Events, New Product Initiatives, and risk metrics. Brings strong expertise across operational, compliance, and business risk within Global Capital Markets, Global Transaction Banking, and Corporate and Investment Banking, with a solid understanding of financial products and end-to-end processes.

Risk and Control Frameworks
•    Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of risk and control frameworks.
•    Execute core risk activities, including operational risk events, new initiatives, and risk reporting, in line with policy and regulatory expectations.
•    Apply strong analytical skills to assess risk activities, identify trends, and support effective decision-making.
•    Support regulatory and audit examinations by responding to information requests and reviews.

Collaboration and Influence
•    Partner across the three lines of defense to ensure consistency and alignment in risk practices.
•    Engage key stakeholders by applying industry best practices and building clear, well-supported business cases for risk and control initiatives.

Additional Highlights
•    Strong understanding of operational and other non-financial risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
•    Proactively identifies opportunities to strengthen controls and streamline processes while effectively managing ad hoc requests and special projects.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree, preferably in Finance or Business related fields
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on Global Capital Markets, Global Business Payments and/or Corporate & Investment Banking.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, front-to-back processes, and business operations.
  • Deep knowledge of operational risk frameworks, including scenario analysis, issue management, and operational risk events.
  • Experience developing and maintaining risk governance tools, such as control libraries, policies, and procedures.
