Purpose

 

Responsible for the execution of the U.S. Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks across relevant business lines and support functions. This role plays a critical part in strengthening the firm’s risk management framework by driving consistency, regulatory alignment, and continuous improvement in control effectiveness.

 


What You'll Do
 

Demonstrated success in building and enhancing risk and control frameworks, with a proven track record in executing Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).  Expertise in operational, compliance, and business matters across Global Capital Markets, Global Transaction Banking and/or Corporate & Investment Banking, offering strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of financial products and end-to-end processes. 

 

RCSA Execution & Oversight

  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of the RCSA framework
  • Provide hands-on execution and oversight of RCSA activities, ensuring alignment with operational risk policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Support regulatory and audit examinations by coordinating timely and accurate responses to information requests.
  • Work closely with technology teams to assess IT and data-related risks, including third-party dependencies and business continuity planning.

 

Collaboration & Influence

  • Proven ability to collaborate across the three lines of defense, ensuring alignment and consistency in risk practices.
  • Influences key stakeholders by applying industry best practices and developing compelling business cases for risk and control initiatives.

 

Additional Highlights

  • Hands-on expertise in executing RCSAs within the First Line of Defense
  • Understands operational and other non-financial risks, controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve controls and streamline processes, while managing ad-hoc requests and special projects


What You'll Bring

 

  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree, preferably in Finance or Business related fields
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on Global Capital Markets, Global Business Payments and/or Corporate & Investment Banking.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, front-to-back processes, and business operations.
  • Deep knowledge of operational risk frameworks, including scenario analysis, issue management, and operational risk events.
  • Experience developing and maintaining risk governance tools, such as control libraries, policies, and procedures.
