Associate Director, Implementation solutions, Global Transaction Banking (GTB) Operations - Dallas, TX
Purpose
The Senior Manager, Implementation Solutions, is responsible for leading and managing the post-sales client experience for onboarding and implementation of global cash management products and services for Global Transaction Banking (GTB) clients across the Bank’s footprint. Key accountabilities include acting as the central coordination point for multi-country implementations, project managing complex technical implementations, and ensuring operational effectiveness are in line with Scotiabank’s values and risk culture.
Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Develops project plan to keep client and internal stakeholders on track to successfully complete implementation of GTB products and services across Scotiabank’s footprint.
- To lead and manage, the end-to-end customer experience of the implementation of Cash Management Services (CMS), such as ScotiaConnect Host-to-Host, Scotia Online for Business (CMS) Multi-Country and SWIFT/SCORE, global ACH clearing systems, trade finance, APIs, Commercial Cards, etc., for companies operating in multiple countries. The role acts as a central coordination point responsible for managing the onboarding and ongoing support.
- Responsibilities also include developing and managing the negotiation processes between clients and the Bank for the use of non-standard international account and GTB product documentation.
- Assist with internal projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Dimensions
- Position manages a portfolio of 20+ multi-country CMS implementation projects at one time and an aptitude for managing multiple simultaneous complex projects with competing priorities; inherent ability to provide timely updates under pressure.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of bank account opening and CMS service document requirements of all GTB International locations including across Canada, the US, LATAM and Caribbean.
- Advanced understanding of GTB’s International Banking AML/KYC policies as they relate to GTB clients.
Education & Experience
- University degree in business or similar
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
- International Cash Management experience (5-10yrs) or CTP designation
- Experience working at global banks with multi-jurisdictional corporate/commercial clients
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
