Purpose:
The Assistant Manager, Sustainment & Control contributes to the success of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) US Cash Management Operations by executing day to day sustainment activities, operational controls and process support under the direction of the Manager and Senior Manager. The role is responsible for supporting the consistent application of operational frameworks, controls, procedures and system usage to ensure delivered initiatives are sustained effectively and in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
What You’ll Do:
- Supports a customer-focused culture by facilitating timely, accurate execution of sustainment activities.
- Executes assigned sustainment and change tasks supporting operational initiatives, including process updates, system usage changes, and controls execution.
- Support the development and execution of the product and program roadmap by owning assigned initiatives and ensuring delivery against defined scope, milestones and target delivery dates.
- Identify and escalate any risks, dependencies or gaps that could impact delivery timelines.
- Performs analysis, data gathering, and supports documentation of business requirements and procedures.
- Participates in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution, evidence collection, and issue tracking.
- Supports Quality Control and Quality Assurance reviews to ensure processes and procedures are structured and executed appropriately
- Executes and maintains operational controls, including monitoring, testing, documentation, and escalation of exceptions.
- Supports identification of operational risks and control gaps through monitoring and analysis.
- Maintains and updates operational procedures, user guides, training materials, and reference documentation.
- Prepares and supports management metrics (KPIs / KRIs) and operational reporting.
- Supports embedding of processes into daily operations through training coordination and user support.
- Maintains working knowledge of GTB products, systems, and operational processes.
- Applies the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities, ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk requirements.

What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Transaction Banking Operations, Cash Management, or related operational roles.
- Working knowledge of back-office operational processes and controls.
- Familiarity with operational risk concepts, procedural documentation, and process controls.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and comfort working with data and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills.
