Title: Business Solutions Lead
Purpose
The Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Operations team sits within the Global Corporate Function (GFC) and is responsible for ensuring the stability, accuracy, and reliability of the bank’s CCR application. This application generates key risk metrics used for CCR limit monitoring across both end‑of‑day and real‑time trading activities, as well as for CCR/CVA capital calculations.
The successful candidate will oversee daily CCR production runs, manage monthly code releases and weekly patching cycles, and coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises. In addition, the role involves driving continuous improvement—designing and implementing hotfixes, performing post‑implementation verification, and collaborating with development teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Accountabilities
- Ensure stable and efficient daily operations of the CCR application.
- Support requests from Risk Management and Front Office teams related to CCR monitoring and capital calculations.
- Lead operational activities including:
- Perform post‑implementation verification (PIV) following releases and patches.
- Identify issues proactively and design/implement hotfixes as needed.
- Collaborate with development teams to recommend improvements to application stability and operational processes.
- Manage and mentor a team of three analysts/engineers.

- Strong hands‑on knowledge of UNIX Bash, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends or early mornings to support critical production issues.

- Self‑driven, curious, and proactive—comfortable researching solutions independently using AI tools, peer discussions, and external resources.
- Experience in financial markets, risk systems, or capital markets technology is an asset.
Education
Education/Experience
- University or College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills

- Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders

Technical Skills
- 5+ years of Backend Developemt with Python
- Experience of developing enterprise, cloud native, message driven, test driven, reactive, containerized applications.
- Must have 3 to 5 years of technical hands-on working experience with Linux and Cloud
- Must have technical hands-on working experience with data modeling & Relational Databases (e.g., MS SQL Server & DB2)
- Previous experience in banking industry/financial services is preferred
- Strong hands-on programming skills with popular developer utility tool suites like Eclipse/STS, JIRA/Bitbucket/Confluence, Git, Gradle/Maven
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
