En Scotiabank estamos evolucionando nuestras plataformas digitales y sistemas core para ofrecer soluciones seguras, escalables y de alto impacto en la región. Buscamos un Java Developer que se sume a nuestras tribus digitales para diseñar, desarrollar y mantener servicios backend y microservicios, asegurando calidad, performance y resiliencia.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener APIs y microservicios en Java.
• Asegurar la calidad del código mediante pruebas unitarias, de integración y automatizadas.
• Participar en el diseño de arquitecturas escalables y seguras.
• Integrar aplicaciones con sistemas core bancarios, servicios internos y externos.
• Colaborar con front-end developers, QA y Product Owners en la definición de requerimientos.
• Implementar y dar soporte a pipelines de CI/CD.
• Documentar y mantener las soluciones desarrolladas siguiendo estándares del banco.

Education / Experience / Other Information 

• +3 años de experiencia en desarrollo backend con Java (8 o superior).
• Experiencia con Spring / Spring Boot.
• Conocimientos sólidos en APIs REST/GraphQL.
• Experiencia en bases de datos relacionales (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) y no relacionales (MongoDB, Redis).
• Manejo de Git y experiencia en metodologías ágiles (Scrum/Kanban).
• Conocimientos en principios de arquitectura de microservicios.
• Inglés B1+

Working Conditions

 Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence
