Purpose

The Global Corporate Functions (GCF) – Collections Technology team develops and manages innovative products designed to support the ever-changing Collections landscape and Collections systems across multiple platforms globally. We work in close partnership with our key Technology Partners throughout Scotiabank to drive technology on a global basis. We are key team members within GCF to ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities 

Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge 

This position will develop custom business applications using Microsoft PowerApps.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Design intuitive user interfaces and user experiences within PowerApps.

Integrate PowerApps solutions with other internal Applications through API
Maintain and support existing PowerApps applications.

Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications

Education / Experience / Other Information 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
3-5 Years of Proven experience as a PowerApps Developer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of Microsoft PowerApps and its components.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
Knowledge of application lifecycle management and version control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
