Title:  Software Engineer Specialist

Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Specialist at Scotiabank, you will play a vital role in supporting several business lines leveraging call recording and workforce management optimization tool.

Your responsibilities will include:
1.    Application Support:
o    Provide 1st line application support for the Verint v15 application.
o    Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Verint v15.
o    Execute incident and change management processes, ensuring timely resolution.
o    Manage technical aspects of vendor deliverables in enterprise solutions, including adherence to budget, timelines, quality and accuracy of technical deliverables.
2.    Technical Expertise:
o    Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols.
o    Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and other programming languages.
o    Strong knowledge of database concepts and MS SQL queries.
o    Hold relevant certifications, such as Microsoft OS/MS certifications.
o    Familiarity with Genesys CCaaS (CX) environment.
3.    Additional Responsibilities:
o    Provide support for other applications as needed.
o    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
o    Leads implementation, integration, security and programming best practices by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of solution components, delivery methods and abilities
o    On-call support, including weekends. 


Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science).
•    Between 3 to 5 years of prior experience in application support or related roles

•    Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable.
•    Financial industry experience is desirable.
