Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Operations Technology Team in Bogota ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

Accountabilities

  • Independently support the implementation of business requirements to resolve complex, multi-faceted problems, by applying technological knowledge to systems solutions. 
  • This may involve rapid prototyping, with requirements and solutions developed on an iterative basis that provides interim deliverables until a final production solution is created. 
  • This includes analyzing business and user needs, reviewing business requirements, code development and supporting on-going regulatory reporting.
  • Responsible to design, build and maintain operational workflows for the delivery, validation, and report generation of all applicable FATCA and CRS reports, including new and amendment reports.
  • Delivers the development, documentation, and communication of Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) yearly reporting related to FATCA/CRS.
  • Delivers the oversight of the technical components of the reporting workflow related to the delivery, validation, existing error notification and report generation of Business Lines/Jurisdictions data.
  • Completes comprehensive testing of new/updates to regulatory rules and requirements in the reporting solution before implementing into production.
  • Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of the FATCA CRS Regulatory Reporting, and work with rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions and services to the end user business lines.

Education / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)

  • 2 + years of technical working experience with Advanced Excel, VBA Macros & Phyton.
  • 2 years+ of experience with Windows Servers & MS SQL Databases
  • Proficient in C# and .NET 8.0, .NET Framework 4.8 and relevant technologies.
  • Demonstrate understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) strategies and design, (staging environments, data transformation, etc...), with an ability to support and maintain the entire IT processes for the Business.
  • Proven ability to manage full stack technology needs including cloud technologies, File Transfer Protocols and APIs
  • Creative, self-starting, results oriented and highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills in order to apply this knowledge to resolve business problems.
  • An asset to have FATCA/CRS reporting knowledge.
  • An asset to have hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
