Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Human Resources Technology / Solution Architecture & Engineering in Colombia and Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Participate in the development and support of cost effective and efficient applications or prototypes of low to medium complexity according to standards to meet the demands of the high availability, complex, on-line transaction processing environment. This involves participating in the system design, developing the required programs, performing unit testing and participating in the integrated system tests.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and compliance with governance standards.
- Provide production and user acceptance testing application support to assigned applications by identifying, evaluating and resolving problems of low to medium complexity and escalating to management as per documented procedures.
- Participate in the implementation of new systems or enhancements by running required conversion programs, performing shakedown testing of the production environments, preparing the Change Control Release documentation and running the parallel test cycles.
- Keep current on rapidly changing technological trends, self-teach new technologies and maintain a broad understanding of the Division's business and technology strategies.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Dimensions
The Developer will focus on designing, developing, and supporting business intelligence solutions within a Microsoft-centric environment. You will be part of a collaborative Agile team that includes Data Engineers, BI Architects, Business Analysts, and QA professionals. This role involves working across the BI development lifecycle - from data modeling to dashboard creation and performance optimization-primarily using Power BI and SSAS (Tabular and/or Multidimensional).
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in data modeling, DAX, and SQL, along with experience working in enterprise environments that leverage Active Directory and JIRA. Your ability to translate business requirements into scalable, insightful analytics solutions will be key to supporting decision-making across Global HR Technology.

Education / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Nice to have).
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack, including SQL Server, SSAS (Tabular and Multidimensional), SSRS, and Power BI. (Must)
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), with a strong focus on performance tuning and scalability. (Must)
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Row-Level Security (RLS), Power Query (M), and SQL for building robust and secure BI solutions. (Must)
- Familiarity with Power BI Service, including workspaces, dataflows, and semantic models. (Must)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. (Nice to have)
- Familiarity with Active Directory for access control and security. (Nice to have)
- Experience using JIRA for task and project management. (Nice to have)
- English level B1 or higher (spoken and written) to support Canadian stakeholders. (Must)
- Strong analytical and communication skills. (Nice to have)
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management (Nice to have)
- Understanding of CI/CD practices for BI deployments is a plus.
