Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of Scotiatech Colombia by leading the RUN (Run the Bank) service delivery function while also establishing and running the PMO, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. This is a combined role that connects reliable service and consultant delivery with strong portfolio governance, execution discipline, and enterprise reporting. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Lead and consolidate the RUN (Run the Bank) vision for ScotiaTech in Colombia.
• Maintain a consolidated view of the capabilities supporting the Bank’s critical applications and services.
• Track resource distribution across:
o Run the Bank.
o Change the Bank.
o Tier 1, Tier 2, and other criticality classifications.
• Monitor productivity, capacity, and utilization metrics from an integrated perspective, beyond traditional occupancy or utilization metrics.
• Coordinate upskilling and reskilling initiatives and plans aligned with future capability needs.
• Track technology onboarding processes, including operational readiness, access, equipment, and tools.
• Act as a liaison among multiple technology areas, HR, Talent Acquisition, capability leaders, and business lines.
• Contribute to workforce planning, capability planning, and capacity forecasting exercises.
• Generate executive visibility through dashboards, metrics, and analysis to support decision-making.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Establish and lead the PMO function, defining portfolio governance standards, execution routines, and reporting cadences across ScotiaTech’s strategic initiatives.
• Drive portfolio governance and prioritization, maintaining a single consolidated view of priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery status to support executive decision-making.
• Strengthen execution discipline and accountability across initiatives, tracking milestones, benefits realization, and outcomes against plan.
• Lead enterprise planning cycles and integrate them with workforce, capacity, and financial planning inputs.
• Manage SLA governance, TPRM and due diligence processes (COUPA), and vendor / consultant delivery performance.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education / Experience / Other Information
Required experience:
• Experience leading Service Delivery, Consultant Delivery, Technology Operations, or similar functions.
• Experience establishing or leading a PMO / portfolio management function, including portfolio governance, prioritization, execution routines, and executive reporting.
• Experience with SLA governance, TPRM / due diligence, and vendor or consultant delivery management.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of critical applications, technology resilience, operational continuity, and criticality models (Tier 1, Tier 2, DR/BCP, etc.).
• Experience working in complex matrix organizations.
• Experience interacting with multiple technology teams and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in environments with more than 1,500–2,000 technology professionals.
Technical skills:
• Advanced Excel (required).
• Power BI (required).
• Data management and analysis.
• Agile methodologies.
• Development of executive dashboards.
• Knowledge of operational, productivity, and capacity metrics.
• Desired knowledge of Jenkins, Jira, Git, ServiceNow, and reporting platforms.
