Purpose

The QA Payroll supports testing activities for payroll processes in Colombia and Mexico, working with SAP HCM Payroll and SuccessFactors (EC/ECP). This role collaborates with HR, Technology, and external vendors to validate payroll changes, ensure local regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate HR and payroll data.

Accountabilities 

 •    Support the creation, execution, and documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results for payroll processes in Colombia and Mexico. 
•    Assist with UAT activities for payroll updates, configuration changes, enhancements, and regulatory requirements. 
•    Validate payroll calculations related to: 
•    Earnings and deductions
•    Social security contributions (based on local legislation)
•    Taxes and statutory obligations
•    Payroll variances such as overtime, leaves, vacations, bonuses, and final settlements
•    Participate in requirement reviews and translate them into basic testing tasks. 
•    Support defect reporting, tracking, and follow up using QA tools such as JIRA/Xray. 
•    Perform data integrity checks and assist with maintenance activities in SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). 
•    Contribute to documentation of procedures, guides, and testing materials.Reporting Relationships

Education / Experience / Other Information

Education:

• 1–2 years of experience in QA, HR systems, or payroll operations (internships or projects count).
• B1 level English
• Foundational knowledge of SuccessFactors EC / ECP.
• Understanding of Colombian payroll processes and labor regulations (basic level).
• Experience using QA tools (JIRA, Xray, or similar).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
• Basic SQL knowledge (nice to have).
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
