Propósito del rol 

En Scotiabank impulsamos la transformación digital del sector financiero con equipos ágiles y orientados a producto. El QA Automation Engineer será clave para garantizar la calidad, estabilidad y escalabilidad de nuestras plataformas digitales mediante la creación y ejecución de pruebas automatizadas en todo el ciclo de desarrollo. 
 

Responsabilidades

Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener frameworks de automatización de pruebas para aplicaciones web, móviles y servicios backend. 

Integrar suites de pruebas automatizadas en pipelines de CI/CD, asegurando feedback rápido y confiable. 

Colaborar con Product Owners, desarrolladores y equipos de negocio para definir criterios de aceptación y casos de prueba. 

Analizar resultados, priorizar defectos y asegurar la trazabilidad de los requerimientos. 

Promover prácticas de shift-left testing y cultura de calidad en los equipos ágiles. 

Documentar procesos, métricas y reportes de calidad para la toma de decisiones. 

Education / Experience / Other Information 

•    1-3 años de experiencia en QA Automation. 
•    Experiencia con frameworks como Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright o RestAssured. 
•    Conocimiento sólido de al menos un lenguaje de programación: Java, JavaScript, Python o C#. 
•    Experiencia en testing de APIs (REST/GraphQL). 
•    Familiarizado con pipelines de Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps o similares. 
•    Uso de Git y metodologías ágiles (Scrum/Kanban).
•    Plus/Deseables 
•    Experiencia en banca, fintech o industrias reguladas. 
•    Conocimientos en Docker/Kubernetes, preferentemente en entornos híbridos con Anthos. 
•    Experiencia en nube AWS y pruebas en infraestructuras mixtas (cloud + on-premise). 
•    Experiencia con herramientas de performance testing (JMeter, Gatling). 
•    Familiarizado con BDD/TDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.).
