Purpose
Ensure the accurate execution, analysis, and strategic control of payroll processes, guaranteeing legal compliance, financial integrity, and accounting alignment, as well as the generation of analytical information to support decision-making within Finance and Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Record payroll transactions in the payroll system related to monthly and variable bonus payments (Anniversary Bonus, VPC, overtime, salary payments, non-salary payments, etc.), ensuring complete and timely processing for accurate payroll calculation.
- Validate, process, and deliver payroll for employees hired through temporary agencies, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Calculate, accrue, and process monthly and variable bonus payments (Anniversary Bonus, VPC, and others), ensuring proper accounting allocation.
- Process monthly payroll by validating all payroll inputs and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Ensure the proper payment of Voluntary Contributions, AFC accounts, and third-party payments, guaranteeing reconciliation and traceability.
- Manage and control the process for globally assigned employees (expatriates not paid through payroll), ensuring proper financial and tax administration.
- Ensure the correct calculation and payment of apprenticeship levy monetization in accordance with SENA regulations and requirements.
- Recalculate withholding tax, ensuring tax compliance and consistency with current legislation.
- Analyze and validate that payroll accruals match accounting balances, identifying and explaining variances.
- Ensure the correct and timely payment of social security and payroll-related contributions.
- Validate and ensure the proper payment of employee benefit settlements.
- Execute payroll accounting close activities and final employee benefit settlements, ensuring integrity, timeliness, and consistency of financial information.
- Recalculate withholding tax in each semester.
- Provide analytical support to Finance and Accounting for the justification of monthly variances and significant events.
- Prepare and deliver payroll reconciliations to the corresponding departments, ensuring clarity and traceability.
- Process and ensure the correct submission of electronic payroll information in accordance with legal requirements.
- Validate and upload all payroll-related payments to the authorized platform, ensuring compliance with payment dates and preventing duplicate payments to employees.
Education, Experience, Other Information
- Ensure the timely deposit of severance funds into the corresponding employee funds.
- Ensure payment of the statutory bonus in accordance with established deadlines.
- Coordinate and ensure the distribution of allowance/supply vouchers according to defined schedules.
- Maintain monthly payroll documentation updated in SharePoint, ensuring proper control and availability of information.
- Prepare and analyze monthly payroll reports, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare, validate, and submit exogenous information required by competent authorities, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance, as well as coordinate and ensure the timely generation and delivery of income and withholding certificates in accordance with current legal regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing complete, accurate, and timely information and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with established timelines and requirements.
- Participate in and provide support for assigned strategic projects, contributing analytical judgment and payroll expertise.
- Perform any other duties assigned according to the nature and responsibilities of the position.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing the full payroll cycle, accounting close processes, social security, withholding tax, final employee benefit settlements, and current Colombian labor regulations.
- Must possess strong skills and experience using statistical and analytical tools such as Excel, ECP, and EC. The individual must be able to demonstrate successful development of value-added reporting and analysis in previous roles and explain the benefits delivered to the organization.
- High degree of flexibility required to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge and experience in reporting, analysis, KPI development, exogenous information reporting, and support for internal and external audits.
Working Conditions
Works in a standard office environment; overtime work is a frequent practice.
