The Digitization and Automation team is part of Global HR and is responsible for defining and implementing plans to identify, maintain, and continuously improve HR tools and technology. The team ensures alignment with Global HR strategy and programs while enhancing the overall employee digital experience.

 

As the Business Analyst, Digitization and Automation, you will support the Senior Manager, Global HR Technology Enablement in driving continuous improvements across HR systems and processes.

 

You will partner across Global HR and Global Technology to develop roadmaps, enhance employee experience, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global HR function through HR systems. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Global HR Technology Enablement to support and implement plans that identify, maintain, and continuously improve HR technology, ensuring alignment with HR strategy and programs while enhancing digital experiences.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Manage day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of internal HR applications, ensuring sustained value from strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Global HR, Global Technology, and Agile delivery teams to define roadmaps, prioritize work, and deliver system and process enhancements
  • Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog, including writing and refining user stories and participating in Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, grooming)
  • Lead business analysis activities by engaging stakeholders to assess needs, analyze workflows, define requirements, and recommend solutions
  • Translate business requirements into clear documentation, lead requirement walkthroughs, and support system testing, including test case execution and defect tracking
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities within HR systems and processes, recommending solutions aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite and control standards
  • Collaborate with technology teams to coordinate system configuration, updates, releases, and production support activities
  • Provide Tier Two support for HR applications, including issue resolution, user access management, data uploads, and service request handling
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation to support HR Services (Tier One and Tier Two) teams
  • Contribute to broader initiatives by analyzing user trends, researching HR technology best practices, supporting strategy development, and sharing knowledge with the Digitization & Automation team

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or Business
  • 2+ years of experience in technology-related roles; prior experience with HR or information systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Pega) is an asset
  • 2+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies (asset)
  • A solid understanding of HR processes and programs
  • Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and deadlines, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
