Purpose
Responsible for the accurate and timely execution of changes to employee leave data, including reviewing, processing, or attending to requests and escalations related to both paid and unpaid leaves, in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs). As a member of the Benefits and Leave Experience team, this role also participates in gathering information to help resolve escalations when required.
Responsibilities
- Promotes a customer-focused culture to leverage the Bank’s relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Enters/processes changes to employee leave status in Human Resources systems throughout the leave lifecycle.
- Ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee record data through established internal control mechanisms.
- Responds to inquiries related to specific employee leave events and manages escalated cases from various stakeholder groups.
- Produces daily/weekly reports to assess performance against standard procedures and SLAs.
- Identifies operational improvement opportunities and proposes recommendations.
- Understands and incorporates the Bank’s risk appetite and culture into decision-making.
- Ensures compliance with operational risk, regulatory, and AML/ATF controls.
Dimensions
- Approval of workflows and maintenance of accurate data records.
- Responds to Level 2 escalations (global scope).
- Transaction volumes: To be determined.
- Coverage of 5 days per week according to assigned schedule.
Education / Experience / Other Information
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- CHRP designation is considered an asset.
- Experience in customer service or contact center environments.
- Knowledge of employee benefits is an asset.
- Knowledge of Human Resources and payroll cycles.
- Knowledge of Bank policies.
- Understanding of organizational structure.
- Teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
