What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Head of Digital Experience, Tangerine Wealth, the UX Analyst will play a critical role in defining the strategy and roadmap. Working closely with Digital Product and Product strategy, as well as various research and analytics stakeholder, this individual will be highly analytical and leverage quantitative and qualitative methods to solve complex strategic problems.  


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Execute data analysis to find and present insights regarding client behaviors, needs, and outcomes
  • Map client journeys and identify client pain points through user research, acting as an advocate for constant improvement and product roadmap prioritization
  • Complete quantitative and qualitative research on strategic themes related to advice and investing, evaluating technology, client, and business objectives and needs to formulate persuasive strategic arguments
  • Partner, collaborate, and communicate effectively with digital analytics, database teams, and key partners in the business, technology, and support functions
  • Build out a reporting framework for digital experience, influencing tagging and reporting, through to client feedback management
  • Identify and leverage 3rd party technologies that will support the digital experience mandate
  • Participate in and help to lead discovery around new features, products, client groups, and platforms
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree requiring use of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies preferred
  • Ability to execute basic queries in SQL or equivalent – other basic coding skillsets preferred (e.g. python)
  • Experience in strategy and/or financial services consulting considered a plus
  • 3+ years professional experience working as an analyst or in adjacent field
